Showing Up As An Ally in the Workplace

The global pandemic and the worldwide Black Lives Matter protests have revealed so many of our blind spots when it comes to supporting our colleagues and making sure everyone is included in this ‘new normal’. This virtual session is a combination of educational awareness and action steps for supporting colleagues in allyship.

  • What does it mean to be an ally?
  • How to identify and leverage your privilege to speak out in favor of diversity
  • Calling out vs calling in

   Hosted with,

Special Guest Speaker....Camille Dundas is a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant specializing in allyship and anti-racism education.

Her speaking themes and corporate consulting are anchored in intersectionality, with specific emphasis on the idea that effective diversity work must go beyond gender. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging must be embedded in every part of a company’s business, from product to people.

Her approach is also deeply rooted in explaining what allyship looks like and giving tangible steps to transforming how teams understand how this plays out in the workplace.

Through keynotes, workshop series, and program implementations, she’s helped kickstart these difficult conversations at both mid-size and large scale organizations such as The Conference Board of Canada, The Globe and Mail, TD Bank, KPMG, and IGM Financial.
